A freelance insurance investigator Peter Ellis is looking for a blackmailer. His client is fantasy grand master M.B. Stern who wants to know who is blackmailing his daughter, a popular YouTube "social influencer."
But as Ellis dives into the culture of the world's largest fan convention and key persons of interest turn up dead, he has to decide if his client is interested in solving the mystery, or covering it up.
